Josh Lloyd-Jones
RESEARCH ASSISTANT
Josh is currently working as a Research Assistant in the Lang group at the Oxford-GSK-IMCM, where his research is focused on using Parkinson’s patient derived iPSCs to analyse the effects of targeting the transcription factor NRF2.
Josh completed his Ph.D. in 2025 at the Department of Life Sciences at the University of Bath, characterising the cytoplasmic role of the protein SNRNP70 in neurodevelopment in zebrafish. His research interests centre on the molecular mechanisms underpinning neurodegenerative disease, and he is passionate about the development of therapeutics and treatment.
