Gavin Band
Senior Statistician
I am a Senior Statistician and GMS DPhil Programme teaching lead at the Wellcome Centre for Human Genetics. My interests are in host and pathogen genetics, in particular in the interplay between human and parasite genetics in malaria infections - for example as described in our recent paper. I am the creator of several software packages for genetic analysis, and designed the widely-used BGEN format.
