Helen Lockstone
Head of Bioinformatics and Training
I manage the Bioinformatics Core group at Wellcome Centre for Human Genetics (WHG), which provides a variety of support and training to researchers. I am a Teaching Co-Lead on the Genomic Medicine and Statistcs DPhil programme and Co-Director on the MSc in Genomc Medicine (first intake 2022). Both programmes are hosted at WHG and we play a leading role in training researchers with the skills to properly handle and analyse large-scale genomic data, and to think about good practice in all aspects of their work, from coding to managing data.
