Shannah Donhou
Sample Processing Team Coordinator
I am a member of the Sample Processing Team (SPT) within the DIL group, responsible for the management, collection, processing and storage of samples from clinical trials, T1D patients and healthy volunteers.
After graduating with a BSc in Human Biology in 2015, I began working at the University of Oxford as a Research Technician in the Centre for Osteoarthritis Pathogenesis. The group focused on identifying the cellular and molecular mechanisms of Osteoarthritis. In 2017, I moved to the Quadram Institute, researching the early life microbiota and its influence on the immune system. After a move back to Oxfordshire, I began working in the DIL group in 2019, as part of the Sample Processing Team.
