Project Summary

My PhD project focuses on modelling protein localisation and interactions at subcellular resolution in brain tissue from individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and cognitive resilience, and in iPSC neuronal models of tauopathy. I also aim to resolve cell type and isoform specific mechanisms of vulnerability and resilience using multi-omic statistical approaches, and functionally validate target proteins, interactors, or pathways associated with these phenotypes.
