Operations coordinator

MY ROLE

I provide operational and financial coordination for the Centre, working closely with the Deputy Business Manager to support its effective day-to-day running. My role includes coordinating internal funding applications and costings, maintaining financial oversight to support budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with University and funder requirements. I also coordinate student stipend processes and contribute to financial reporting and monitoring.

I support contract management, reporting, and internal approvals processes, and help develop streamlined procedures to ensure efficient and compliant operations. As a key point of contact within the operations team, I provide guidance to staff and students on University policies and administrative processes.

Alongside this, I lead on internal and external communications, including digital content and newsletters, and support the delivery of events and seminar series.
