Alicia Jia

DPhil candidate in Clinical Medicine

I am a DPhil student in the Knight and Whiffin labs, where I study the role of rare genetic variants in sepsis immunopathology.

BACKGROUND

I have a background in microbiology and immunology, with a particular emphasis on immunogenetics. I completed a BSc in Microbiology and Immunology at McGill University (2019), after which I completed my MSc in Microbiology and Immunology at the University of British Columbia (2021), where I studied monogenic inborn errors of immunity.
