Grace Hood

DPhil student
Grace is a veterinarian reading for a DPhil (PhD) in the High-Consequence Emerging Viruses Group, Pandemic Sciences Institute. Her research focuses on characterising emerging viral spillover events in Forested Guinea (Guinée forestière), Republic of Guinea.
Prior to the DPhil, she received her Masters of Public Health in infectious disease epidemiology from Columbia University in the City of New York. She completed her training in veterinary medicine at the University of Queensland, Australia.
