Gabriele Migliorini from the Knight Group helped the Oxford Science Team run a stall for a day at the 2017 Cheltenham Science Festival. This involved a number of activities designed to make genomics accessible to the public, ranging from understanding the large impact of small genetic changes using a scrabble game to extracting DNA from frozen strawberries using concentrated pineapple juice and alcohol. The activities built on the success of the stall at the Oxford Science Festival 2016 (https://scienceoxford.com/dna-deconstructed-dark/).
